Background:
The Code Enforcement Board consists of seven (7) members and their appointments varies from one (1) year to three (3) years. Jacqueline Osborne has resigned from her appointment effective March 31, 2019, when her term expired. Ms. Osborne was originally appointed to the Code Enforcement Board November 26, 2012 to represent District 2. District 2 Commissioner Aaron Bell, solicited volunteers to serve and is recommending appointment of Joan Knutson.
Request:
Consider appointment of Joan Knutson as the District 2 representative on the Code Enforcement Board for a three (3) year term ending December 2021.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Mileage reimbursement that was approved in the FY 2019/2020 budget.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Code Enforcement is requesting the BOCC to appoint a citizen to represent District 2 on the Code Enforcement Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Jacquelin Osborne for a three (3) year term ending March 2021.
