Item Title:Conservation Lands Acquisition + Management Update

Background:
In 2018, the Board of County Commissioners directed PEO staff to begin looking at options around land conservation programs. Since then, PEO has been working with a technical team of advisors from various agencies and organizations, and earlier this year, the BOCC entered into an agreement with the Trust for Public Land to do a feasibility study around potential finance options. PEO staff will be present to give an update on the Trust for Public Land efforts and other related planning efforts that connect to land conservation.

The Trust for Public Land assessment evaluates potential funding strategies; however, nothing is being presented during this presentation for BOCC direction and the presentation is just an update.
