| | | | | | | | Background: | 6.01 - Holidays Observed, of the Nassau County Policies and Procedures Manual was originally effective November 1, 2013. On October 1, 2017 it had revisions made to include pay for non-exempt employees who work on a holiday, as well as to add the benefit of Personal Holidays for certain exempt positions.
Additional revisions are being requested effective September 1, 2019 to help clarify the holiday pay for non-exempt employees and to also better define the exempt positions eligible for additional Personal Holidays due to reorganizations that have taken place since October 2017.
