| | | | | | | | | Background: | On September 10, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners authorized the Chairman to sign a letter to the US Army Corps of Engineers requesting a Planning Assistance to States (PAS) Study to help determine a solution to flooding issues at Thomas Creek. The grant agreement has been received and will assist Nassau County in the identification of long-term structural and nonstructural flood risk management measures to alleviate flooding associated with Thomas Creek. The study is estimated to take 12 to 18 months to complete and is fully funded through U. S. Corps of Army Engineers. In kind services and materials to support the study will be provided by staff.
