| | | | | | | | | Background: | | On August 6, 2019, (4) proposals were received in response to the Request for Proposal (RFP) No. NC19-006 along with one (1) no bid. The Bid Opening was held on August 7, 2019 (minutes attached as Tab A) at which time the Cost Proposals were opened. The Evaluation Committee met on August 14, 2019 to evaluate the lowest bidder, which was Core Construction Company of Jacksonville, Inc., and to confirm that the bidder meets the Technical Criteria set forth in the RFP. The Evaluation Committee found that Core Construction Company of Jacksonville, Inc., met the Technical Criteria set forth in the RFP (Technical Evaluation Minutes and Scoresheet attached as Tab D). It is recommended by the Evaluation Committee that the award be given to Core Construction Company of Jacksonville, Inc., pending Board approval. | | Request: | | Consider the following: 1) approve the Evaluations Committee's Technical Evaluation for Request for Proposals received in response to Bid No. NC19-006, Fire Station 71 Design/Build; 2) award bid to the top ranked firm, Core Construction Company of Jacksonville, Inc.; and 3) authorize the Chairman to sign the Design Build Agreement, Contract No. CM2729. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | The financial and economic impact is to be determined.
