Item Title:Approval to Execute Agreement with Anderson Columbia for the Construction of CR 115

Background:

Nassau County entered into a Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) agreement with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for road improvements of CR 115 from Henry Smith Road to Bypass Road in October 2014.  The agreement allocates $8,999,026 for costs associated with engineering and design, construction, and construction engineering inspection services.

On June 26, 2019 three bids were received in response to the Invitation to Bid and opened at 10:00 am on June 27, 2019.

After evaluation of the bids it is recommended that Anderson Columbia Co., Inc., the apparent lowest and most responsive bidder, be awarded the contract for the Road Improvements for CR 115 from Henry Smith Road to Bypass Road for a total contract amount of $6,769,323.25.

Award Bid No. NC19-015 to Anderson Columbia, in the amount of $6,769,323.25, for the County Road 115 Improvements Project; and authorize the Chairman to sign Notice of Award and Contract No. CM2731. Funding Source: 63470541-563100 115SB.
