| | | | | | | | | Background: | Olsen Associates, Inc. Coastal Engineering Contract CM1852-A1 requires individual Task Orders. This task order proposal directs Olsen Associates to prepare a construction manual for the next Renouishment Project scheduled for May 2021. This includes the design and preparation of the contract and construction documents, plans and specifications. The Task also includes assistance with bid solicitation, bid-period tasks and bid evaluation process, and assistance with the negotiation and execution of the construction Contract.
| | Request: | | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Task Order CM1852-TO37 to Olsen Associates, Inc., in the amount of $202,300 for Coastal Engineering Services for Preparation of Documents and Bidding/Negotiation Assistance. Funding Source: 43603539-563829. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | This Task Order is eligible for State Cost-sharing under the recently approved FDEP Agreement, 19NA1. Under the Agreement up to 40.8% of the Project costs are potentially eligible for reimbursement. Furthermore, this Task Order will have no impact on the general citizenry of Nassau County since all funds for the Beach Project are collected from the property owners within the SAISS-MSBU specifically in support of the beach project. No Ad Valorem Tax revenues are used for the SAISS Project.
