Background:

On January 23, 2017 the Board of County Commissioners passed Ordinance 17-05, amending 99-18, as amended, which allows for a portion of a plat to be vacated or annulled as part of an application to replat. The applicant is requesting to vacate lot 8 of the existing Oakleaf plat, recorded by Plat Book 6, Page 324 on September 25, 2002, and replat Lot 8 into Lots 8 and 8b consisting of 6 acres and 7.23 acres respectively.  The Oakleaf subdivision is located on the east side of US Hwy 1 south of Lake Hampton Road on Yellow Oak Court, Bolougne area.  The property is zoned Open Rural (OR) and designated as Agricultural on the Future Land Use Map.


Request:
For recording purposes only, consider the re-plat for Oakleaf  Lot 8, filed by Jeffery Holton, owner, to create Lots 8 and 8b. The property is zoned Open Rural and is located off Yellow Oak Court, six miles northwest of the City of Hilliard along U.S. Hwy.1.  Staff recommends approval.

Police, fire, transportation, recreation and administrative impacts to be covered partially or wholly by impact fees/gas taxes/ad valorem taxes/mobility fees.
