| | | | | | | | | Background: | The Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida previously limited wine and beer vendor licenses and liquor licenses based on such things as seating capacity, assessed value, and/or square footage. The Board also previously set the hours of Sunday sales for on premises and off premises consumption for the sale of alcoholic/intoxicating beverages in the unincorporated areas of Nassau County and set distance restrictions from churches and schools.
The amendment will unify County beverage regulations with State beverage regulations, reference the applicability of zoning in relation to beverage licensing, remove distance restrictions from churches and schools, and provide the definition of Division.
