| | | | | | | | | Background: | Public Works has received the attached Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement for the construction and construction management of safety improvements on CR 108 from Middle Road to US 17. The construction will include updating signage and pavement markings, raised thermoplastic audible/vibratory marking and friction course overlay with 1” average milling. FDOT is agreeing to a maximum reimbursable amount of $3,197,768. This agreement anticipates that all work will be completed by December 31, 2022. We are in compliance with the regulations set forth in the attached agreement.
| | Request: | Consider the following: 1) approve a Resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement between the State of Florida and Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, for construction and construction management of safety improvements on County Road 108 from Middle Road to US 17; 2) authorize the Chairman to sign the Local Agency Program Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation, Contract No. CM2792; and 3) authorize the Chairman to sign associated Budget Amendment for unanticipated revenue in Fiscal Year 2019/2020. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | | N/A | | Action Requested and Recommendation: | Authorize the Chairman to sign the budget amendment resolution as prepared by the Office of Management and Budget.
