Staff received a request from a citizen to consider establishing parking restrictions on Amelia Island Parkway across from the Ritz-Carlton. This location is at Nassau Amelia Utilities Lift Station #3 and is needed for access when NAU provide maintenance and repair to the Lift Station. Engineering Services staff have assessed the parking in this area and propose “PARKING BY AUTHORIZED VEHICLES ONLY” signs to be installed. Consistent parking at this location is damaging the pavement shoulders and presents a safety issue.
