| | | | | | | | Background: | Nassau County Fire Rescue has two vehicles they are requesting to delete from inventory. The first is a 2011 Ford F350 and a 2013 Freightliner. Both have over 200,000 miles and have exceeded their life expectancy. They are in poor condition and in need of great repair. Fire/Rescue would like to eliminate them from inventory and trade them into a dealer before they become derelict. The trade in value will be used to purchase new vehicles under the Fleet Replacement Plan. | Request: | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Deletion from Inventory Forms for trade-in of two Fire/Rescue vehicles that have exceeded life expectancy.
