Item Title:Consideration of Setting a Date and Time for the Board to have a Workshop

Background:

Engineering Services and Road Department staff have been working together to create specifications for determining the use of Chip Seal materials on dirt roads.  The specifications will include the evaluation of road conditions, materials selection, testing and verification of the use of Chip Seal on Nassau County dirt roadways.

 

Department staff request the Board of County Commissioners to consider setting a workshop on January 27th at 5:00 pm.  Staff will provide an overview of Chip Seal uses and the proposed specifications that have been developed.


Request:

Consider setting Workshop at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2020 to discuss Chip Seal Program.
