Item Title:Cancel or Reschedule March 9th BOCC Meeting

Background:

On June 10, 2019, the Board approved a request from Supervisor of Elections, Vicki Cannon, to utilize the Commission Chambers for early voting days and election day in 2020. Beginning March 5th, the Chambers will be used for the Presidential Preference Primary. The  Board has a regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, March 9th. Staff is seeking Board direction as to whether they want to just cancel that meeting or reschedule it for another day.  Staff suggests cancelling the meeting since the Chambers are unavailable the first half of the month and there are regularly scheduled for March 18th and March 23rd.

 

Note: The memo from Ms. Cannon indicates that they will be using the facility through March 18th, however she has confirmed (see email attached) that they will be out of the facility late on March 17th so the Board can still have the meeting on March 18th.
