Item Title:Workshop to Discuss Beach Community Working Group Recommendations

Background:

A Workshop of the Board of County Commissioners was held on January 16, 2020, to discuss the Beach Community Working Group's recommendation regarding possible changes to beach ordinances. County staff did a presentation on the recommendations that were made and County Manager/County Attorney, Mike Mullin, facilitated a discussion on the County's options, associated costs, etc. The Board directed staff to bring back potential dates for another BOCC Workshop.

 

Potential evening dates in February are below. Please keep in mind that the Chambers are reserved most days in February for election training from 8am-5pm.  The Chambers are used many evening for Planning Board, Conditional Use Board, Port Authority and Code Enforcement Board meetings.

  • Monday, February 3rd (after 5:00 p.m.)
  • Wednesday, February 19th (after 5:00 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, February 25th (after 5:00 p.m.)
