Item Title:Negotiations with Pond & Company for Design of Safety Improvements on CR 108 from Bay Road to Middle Road

Background:

On November 13, 2019 two bids (NC19-022) were received for Engineering Design Services of for Safety Improvements to CR 108 from Bay Road to Middle Road. The bids were opened on November 14, 2019.  The evaluation committee met on December 6, 2019 to formulate a recommendation. The consensus of the committee is to recommend the top ranked firm Pond & Company, and request the Board to approve the ranking and authorize negotiations with Pond & Company Consultants.

Request:

Approving the Evaluation Committee's scoring and ranking of proposals received in response to Bid No. NC19-002, Professional Design Services for Safety Improvements on County Road 108 from Bay Road to Middle Road; and authorize negotiations with the top ranked firm, Pond & Company, for a contract to be brought back to the Board for approval.
