| | | | | | | | | Background: | The application for a Minor Development, Nassau County Code of Ordinances Chapter 29, Section 29-3.1 (now rescinded), allowed properties in Open Rural (OR) zoning to subdivide a parcel into a maximum of eight 5-acre minimum lots. Lem Turner Acres is the third and last of the Minor Developments to be approved and recorded by Nassau County.
The Lem Turner Minor Development application was submitted on May 13, 2019 by Peter King, agent, on behalf of Lem Turner 40 LLC, owner, to create five lots of five acres each from the original 26.13-acre parcel with a 60-foot ROW for ingress and egress. The Development Review Committee approved the Lem Turner Acres Minor Development, MD19-003, and the accompanying Site Engineering Plan for the design and grading of the right-of-way on July 7, 2020.
