Background:

The City of Fernandina Beach developed and advertised RFP 2019-06 for an Amelia Island Beach Habitat Conservation Plan. They had proposed that the anticipated cost of $99,500 be split 50/50 between the City and County.

 

Four responses to the RFP were received and discussed at the April 7, 2020 City Commission Meeting. Staff has been advised that the City voted against moving forward with the Amelia Island Beach Habitat Conservation Plan at this time.
