| | | | | | | | | Background: | On December 12, 2019, the County entered into a contract with Florida Government Utility Authority (FGUA) for them to assist in pursuing and security grants or loans for phasing out the current well and septic system at American Beach and expand the Nassau Amelia Utility into that area.
FGUA has identified a grant through the State of Florida, Department of Environmental Protection. The grant totals $400,000 and would provide preliminary design and removal of up to 323 well and on site septic systems.
