| | | | | | | | | Background: | The CAL Branch Library has been located within the Plaza on A1A in Callahan for the last five years. The current five year lease expires in July 2020. West Nassau Land Development has offered a new five year lease; keeping the base rent flat for all five years, with only a 3% increase in CAM each year.
Residents really enjoy the location as it is a shared location for local business, dining and the Tax Collector's Office. The CAL Branch is very popular and has an increase in visits each year. I recommend the new five year lease be approved. Total cost of the five year lease is $ 414,743.87
