| | | | | | | | | Background: | In February 2020, the County Manager authorized requesting bids for Citrona Drive Storm Drain Replacement (Bid No. NC20-008) and Eastwood Drive Outfall (Bid No. NC20-006) Projects. On Wednesday, April 8, 2020, nine (9) bids were received (Tab A) in response to the Invitation to Bid for Citrona Drive Storm Drain Replacement Project and seven (7) bids were received (Tab B) in response to the Invitation to Bid for Eastwood Drive Outfall Project. Upon evaluation of the bids received for Citrona Drive, DB Civil Construction LLC was the lowest bid received, $104,870.00 and for Eastwood Drive, Pars Construction Services LLC was the lowest bid received, $169,066.00. Staff recommends DB Civil Construction LLC be awarded the Citrona Drive Storm Drain Replacement Project (CM2852, Tab C) and Pars Construction Services LLC be awarded the Eastwood Drive Outfall Project (CM2851, Tab D).
Time Line: Staff anticipates starting the projects July 2020 (Project Duration of 60 Days) and anticipated completion September 2020.
