Background:

City and County beaches were closed on Sunday, March 22, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At a Special Meeting held on April 29, 2020, the Board approved opening portions of beaches in the unincorporated areas on Friday, May 1st, from 6am-9pm for most normal activities including walking, running, fishing, swimming, sitting, etc. Activities not approved include commercial activities, beach driving and camping. 

 

 

The County Manager will provide an update on the beaches and the Board will discuss other permitted uses of the beach.
