Background:
City Manager, Dale Martin, send the attached letter dated June 30, 2020, in which he indicates that many of the City recreational facilities are being heavily used by non-City residents. He is requesting the County budget $500,000 to the City to help with upgrades and repairs to City recreational facilities, specifically the Atlantic Recreation Center, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center, and Central Park. Mr. Martin will provide a presentation to the Board regarding this request.
