Background:

The County Manager's Office received a request from a resident named Ernie Stucky to hold a Hope Walk on the beach on Saturday, October 24th. He is proposing the begin the walk at Peter Points and end at Scott Rd and is hoping to have 200 participants to raise money and awareness for Huntington's Disease. 

 

The County Manager's Office has provided them with a special event application and will ensure that liability insurance and hold harmless forms are provided. However, the Board must grant approval for use of the beach for the event.

Consider request from Ernie Stucky to hold a Hope Walk for Huntington's Disease on the beach between Peters Point and Scott Road on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
