Background:
Invitation to Bid NC20-022 was sent out for Trash Haul Assistance at the Nassau County Convenience Recycle Center. Bids were due by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 5, 2020. Bids were opened and read on Thursday August 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., The following bid responses were received for this service: Meridan Waste $175.00 (20) yrd roll-off, $175.00 (30) yrd roll-off, $175.00 (30) yrd trash compactor Advanced Disposal $296.73 (20) yrd roll-off, $296.73 (30) yrd roll-off, $318.71 (30) yrd trash compactor
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM-2904, with Meridian Waste Florida, LLC, for trash haul assistance at the Convenience Recycle Center, at a rate of $175.00 per pull. Funding source: 01369534-543003.
