Background:

The Health Planning Council's Board of Directors is a 12 member State-funded Board that focuses on the health needs of the community, individual risk factors, and ways to create positive health outcomes. The Board represents Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, St. Johns, and Volusia Counties. Each County is required to appoint someone to represent them on the Board of Directors.

 

Nassau's current representative is Ed Hubel, President of Baptist Medical Center Nassau. He has indicated he is interested in serving another two year term from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2022.

 

Attached is a letter from the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida regarding the Board of Directors and Mr. Hubel's request to be reappointed.

Consider reappointment of Ed Hubel as Nassau County's representative on the Health Planning Council's Board of Directors for the term of October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2022.
