Item Title:Consider additional Board of County Commission Meetings during October 2020

Background:

Due to early voting being held in Commission Chambers, the Board of County Commissioners canceled Board meetings for October 21, 2020 and October 26, 2020.

The State of Florida extended the State of Emergency on on September 4, 2020 for an additional 60 (sixty) days, expiring on November 3, 2020.

Staff feels it is in the best interest of citizens to set meetings for upcoming Wednesdays through October to reevaluate the local state of emergency as required by Florida Statute 252.38(3)(5).

Meetings are requested as follows:

October 7, 2020 at 9:00 am - James S. Page Governmental Complex

October 14, 2020 at 9:00 am - James S. Page Governmental Complex

October 21, 2020 at 9:00 am - Nassau County Emergency Operations Center

October 28, 2020 at 9:00 am - Nassau County Emergency Operations Center
