| | | | | | | | | Background: | In 2014, the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners approved a Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) agreement with Florida Department of Transportation for the Reconstruction of Crawford Road.
Right of Way acquisition, construction agreements with Norfolk Southern, and wetlands mitigation have caused numerous delays in the Crawford Road project. Construction bids for NC20-020 were advertised on July 1, 2020.
Bids were due August 5, 2020 and upon evaluation on August 6, 2020, it is recommended that Anderson Columbia, the lowest responsible bidder, be awarded the contract for a total of $1,080,805.17.
On September 1, 2020, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) concurred with the recommendation to award.
All documentation, i.e. bid submittals, minutes of the bid opening, scope of services, etc. are available for review upon request to Contract Management.
