Item Title:Acceptance of Funding 2020 JAG D Grant

Background:
On September 28, 2020, the Chairman signed the Lobbying, Debarment and Drug Free Workplace Certification and the Sub-award Management Capabilities and Compliance Questionnaire for submission of the 2020 JAG D Funds from FDLE in the amount of $9,353.On November 10, 2020, staff was notified that we have received the award.
Request:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Acceptance of Federal Funding Assistance and accompanying budget amendment for the 2021--JAGD-NASS-1-4R-005.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Accepting JAG-D funds has a positive impact on the budget of $9,353 as these monies would have had to been provided by other means to maintain providing services/or equipment covered by this grant.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Acceptance of Federal Funding Assistance and accompanying budget amendment for the 2021--JAGD-NASS-1-4R-005.
