Background:

Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) provides public water and wastewater services to rate payers in Nassau County.  A Board of County Commissioners special meeting has been called to discuss the following:

  • JEA/Nassau County Interlocal Agreement
  • Proposed Charter Revisions
  • General Background on JEA/Nassau County Working Relationship
Request:
Discuss the Nassau County/Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) Interlocal Agreement and Proposed Charter Revisions.

Residents of Nassau County are impacted by interactions and agreements with JEA as JEA provides public water and wastewater services for many residents of Nassau County.  Nassau County strives to be proactive in ensuring accountability, fiscal responsibility and transparency in service to our citizens.
