Background:
Vicki P. Cannon has proudly served as the Supervisor of Elections for five terms beginning on January 2, 2001 and ending on January 4, 2021. The Board of County Commissioners will present a Resolution to Ms. Cannon commending her for her service.
Request:
Approve a Resolution recognizing and commending Vicki P. Cannon for her service to the citizens of Nassau County as the Supervisor of Elections.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Though there is no financial impact, the Board feels it is important to recognize Ms. Cannon for the positive impact she has has on the residents by ensuring they have knowledge in election procedures and are informed on election news.
