Item Title:FY 2020 End of Year Variance Analysis

Background:
FY 2019-20 ended September 30, 2020.  There is a 60 day window after the end of the fiscal year for adjustments to be made to the general ledger before the books are closed for the year and the audit fieldwork commences.  The Office of Management and budget has performed a budget-to-actual variance analysis on the three taxing funds as of FY 2020 fiscal year end and will be presenting the results.

Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Periodic analysis of budget-to-actual results leads to more effective budgeting in future years.  It is a useful tool that can be used to measure performance, more effectively allocate resources and proactively address potential future budget issues.
