Item Title:Emergency Medical Services (EMS) County Grant Application and Resolution

Background:
Attached is the 2020-2021 Emergency Medical Services (EMS) County Grant application, as well as a resolution supporting the county grant application.  These funds are to be used solely to improve and expand pre-hospital emergency medical services.  The EMS County Grant total for 2020-2021 is $8,750.00.
Request:
Approve a Resolution supporting the County EMS Grant application for funds to be used to improve and expand pre-hospital emergency medical care; and authorize the Chairman to sign the associated grant application.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
This grant allows Fire Rescue to enhance or upgrade equipment used on rescue units to provide emergency aid and care on calls.
Action Requested and Recommendation:

1) Approve a resolution supporting the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) County Grant application for funds to be used solely to improve and expand pre-hospital emergency medical services.

2) Authorize the Chairman to sign the EMS County Grant application.
