| | | | | | | | | Background: | | The County Manager's Office has received a request from Fernandina Beach High School, requesting permission to use Peters Point Parking Lot for prom parking on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from approximately 6pm-11pm. This event is tentative at this time however they are planning to hold the prom at the Golf Club at Amelia Island. They will utilize shuttle buses to transport students to/from the event. They are still in the process of selling tickets for the event so an exact number is not currently known, however they are estimating 150 parking spaces, based on tickets sold in previous years. | | Request: | | Consider request from Fernandina Beach High School to utilize approximately 150 parking spaces at Peters Point from 6pm-11pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021, for the FBHS Prom. | | Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens: | | Approval of this request would reduce the number of available parking spaces at Peters Point for the general public. However, there is no financial impact to the County or residents.
