Item Title:Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) Residual

Background:
On February 1st, the office of Criminal Justice Grants notified staff that there is a significant amount of residual funding available from the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) program that was made available in May 2020. Eligible jurisdictions may apply for up to $50,000 in funding. The application deadline is March 19, 2021.
Request:
Consider the following: 1) approve the Coronavirus Emergency Supplemental Funding Local Residual Funding Application; 2) authorize the Chairman to sign the Lobbying, Debarment and Drug Free Workplace Certification, the Subaward Management Capabilities and the Compliance Questionnaire and the EEOP Certification Form; and 3) authorize staff to submit the application electronically on behalf of the Board.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
This funding will provide much needed audio-visual equipment for the Emergency Operations Center especially during COVID when meetings are all virtual. Without this grant the equipment will not be purchased.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
