| | | | | | | | | Background: | The Family Nurturing Center, in Yulee, provides a nurturing environment for Nassau County families impacted by divorce, custody battles, and domestic violence, by keeping children safe during these challenging times and helping parent's foster positive relationships with their children.
The services provided by the Center have the support of the 4th Judicial Circuit, due to their services in cases that warrant children's protection and also avert the prosecution and incarceration costs when crimes occur during unsupervised custody exchanges.
Pursuant to Florida Statute, Section 775.083, the County in consultation with the Sheriff, must expend monies from the Crime Prevention Trust Fund for crime prevention programs in the County.
