Background:
On October 29, 2020, the County received two bids for "NAU Generator Replacement Project Bid No. NC20-017" which requires the removal and replacement of the existing generator at the Amelia Island Wastewater Treatment Facility. The two submitted bids are as follows: 1. Cogburn Brothers, Inc. - $120,000 2. Zabatt Power Systems - $155,661 The Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA), as the operator of Nassau Amelia Utilities is recommending the award of NC20-017 to Cogburn Brothers, Inc. in the amount of $120,000, Contract No. CM2978.
Request:
Approve and award Bid No. NC20-017 for Nassau Amelia Utilities Generator Replacement Project Award to Cogburn Brothers, Inc. for the total base bid amount of $120,000, Contract No. CM2978. Funding source: 71500533-564002 GENER.
