| | | | | | | | | Background: | The Nassau County Economic Development Board was formed to further economic development within the county. The Economic Development Board shall do so by actively seeking to generate new industry and jobs, while also shall assist new business relocation to the county. Additionally, a comprehensive program will be developed to assist existing businesses in operations currently and expanding their operations for the future.
The Nassau County Board of County Commissioner's budget for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 will include quarterly installments paid, during the months of December, February, May and August, to total a sum of one-hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000). Appropriations for the funding of this Agreement beyond Fiscal Year 2020-2021 shall be subject to the budget and appropriation by the County during regular budget process. | | Request: | Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Contract No. CM2960, Funding Agreement with Nassau County Economic Development Board, in the amount of $150,000.
