Item Title:Review and Approve the Final Capital Assessment Resolution

Background:
Attached is the FINAL CAPITAL ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION FOR THE SOUTH AMELIA ISLAND SHORE STABILIZATION MUNICIPAL SERVICE BENEFIT UNIT.  The Resolution imposes assessments to fund the beach renourishment local improvement; confirms the Initial Capital Assessment Resolution; approves the assessment roll; and, provides for the collection of the assessments pursuant to the Uniform Method of Collection.
Request:

To be heard at 7:00PM or as soon thereafter: Review and approve the Final Capital Assessment Resolution.

Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:

The Assessments are paid by the property owners within the SAISS-MSBU so there is no impact on the general citizenry.  A majority of owners of real property within the South Amelia Island Shore Stabilization Municipal Service Benefit Unit approved the proposed assessment by petition pursuant to Ordinance 94-1 as amended. The petition was present to the Board of County Commission at its regular meeting held May 20, 2020.
