Approve and authorize Finance Package 2021-13 and associated Resolutions. 
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:

Items included in the Finance Package are:

  • Budget Amendment in the Municipal Service Fund for donations received by Animal Services to assist with Veterinary Services and food.
  • Budget Amendment in the General Fund for donations received by the Nassau County Library System to assist with the purchase of periodicals, newspapers, databases, books, e-books, etc.
  • Budget Amendment in the EMS Award fund for the Emergency Medical Services Grant. The grant monies will assist in improving and expanding pre-hospital EMS.
  • Budget Transfer in the Capital Projects fund to realign budget for the West Side Regional Park project. Per section 1.6(b) of the Financial Policies, transfers requested not within a major expenditure category, but within a department in excess of $100,000 require Board approval. 
  • Deletion from Inventory Forms to remove outdated equipment from BOCC inventory.
