April 11-17, 2021 is known as National Telecommunicators Week to dedicate a time when citizens and governments can recognize the public safety professionals who respond to emergency calls and dispatch emergency professionals and equipment during times of crisis.
Request:
Approve a Resolution Proclaiming April 11-17, 2021 as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

As emergencies can occur at any time or any place requiring assistance of fire, emergency medical services or law enforcement, citizens rely on the "silent service" of telecommunication professionals for assistance.
