| | | | | | | | | Background: | As Dr. Eugenia Ngo-Seidel, Director of the Department of Health-Nassau, is retiring after 30 years of service, a new Director will need to be appointed to fill the position. The State Surgeon General, Dr. Scott Rivkees, has made a recommendation to appoint Dr. Prince Danso-Odei to the position of Director of the Department of Health-Nassau.
Dr. Danso-Odei has an excellent and diverse background in all aspects of public health and has demonstrated his ability as a skilled leader. Dr. Danso-Odei is currently employed with the Department of Health-Clay County as an Epidemiologist and Manager of Disease Prevention and Control.
