Background:

The Board of County Commissioners and School Board have set a Joint Meeting to be held on June 22, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.

 

Dr. Burns, Superintendent,  has submitted the following topics for discussion on behalf of the School Board:

  • Hendrix Property
  • Interlocal Agreement
  • Planning Site Review Committee - Transportation Representation
  • Nassauville Site
  • Land Conveyance

 

Staff seeks Board direction on items they would like to see included on the agenda.

Request:
Discuss topics for the Joint Meeting with the School Board taking place on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:

Holding joint meetings between the Board of County Commissioners and Nassau District Schools allows both Boards to be up to date and aware of current and future concerns of both Boards, while also providing a collaborative venue to best serve the citizens of Nassau County.  A joint meeting also allows citizens the ability to address both Boards with issues that involve both the County and School Board.

 

Financial impacts of items discussed may vary and are undetermined at this time.
