On June 14th, 2021, Mrs. Marsha Morell sent a request to the Board of County Commissioners to conduct an evaluation of Sunowa Springs Trail near Bryceville for golf cart traffic. Engineering Services Staff was tasked with providing a recommendation for golf cart use for Sunowa Springs Trail. Engineering Services Staff conducted a site visit to Sunowa Springs Trail to determine the condition of the County maintained paved road, evaluated the speed limit, and analyzed other relevant factors. The Engineering Services Department, as required by the Nassau County Code, has determined that Sunowa Springs Trail is safe for use of golf carts under the limitations as described in Section 18-10 of the Nassau County Code. A map showing the road as the recommended golf cart road is included.
