The Florida Legislature has Local Government Funds Assistance Program that provides Local Government Cost- sharing grants to support beach and inlet management programs. SAISSA, Inc. on behalf of the SAISS MSBU recommends the attached Funding Request for the SAISS MSBU 2022-23 Monitoring tasks, Physical survey, and environment monitoring (turtles and shorebirds). |

The physical and environmental monitoring is a requirement of our current renourishment permit in the years following the 2021 beach renourishment project recent started. The matching funds for the programs is provided by property owners within the SAISS MSBU and none of the costs are paid by the general citizenry. |
