Background:

R21-004 proposes to rezone approximately 67.32 acres from Open Rural (OR) to Residential Single Family 2 (RS-2). This property is located on the north side of Pages Dairy Road approximately one mile east of its intersection with US 17.  According to Article 12 of the LDC, the Residential Single-Family 2 (RS-2) zoning district is intended to provide for the orderly expansion of low- and medium-density development in areas where public services, utilities and transportation facilities exist or may be made available.

The applicant, in conjuncton with staff, request that this application be continued to October 19, 2021, in order to be heard together with rezoning application R21-003, which is adjacent to this property and will become part of one overall development. Application R21-003 is being withdrawn from consideration at this time and will be re-advertised for hearing on October 19, 2021.
