| | | | | | | | | Background: | | For the last six years the AITDC has funded a holiday lighting program in downtown Fernandina Beach as part of the marketing promotions targeting the need period of December. Moving into the 7th year we need to prepare to replace lights that have naturally degraded over the years. We received three proposals and after evaluating the pricing, quality of work and level of service, the recommendation is to continue using We Decorate as our preferred service provider for our holiday lighting. As with many industries, there’s a supply issue increasing costs of materials so we’re recommending a three year contract which will allow us to lock in this years pricing.
