The proposed rezoning is located along First Coast Highway just south of Tradewinds Way. It comprises one parcel totaling 1.67 acres. The rezoning request is from Residential Single Family-1(RS-1) to Residential General-1 (RG-1).
According to Article 12 of the LDC, the Residential General-1 (RG-1) zoning district proposed for this site is intended to provide for a variety of housing types, including single family detached, single-family attached (townhomes) or multi-family dwellings at densities appropriate to those allowed by the underlying Future Land Use Map (FLUM) designation.
The proposed RG-1 zoning district would be consistent with the existing High Density Residential (HDR) FLUM designation, if approved. |
