Item Title:Set Public Hearing For Consideration of Revisions to Ordinance 99-17 Roadway and Drainage Standards

Background:

The Board of County Commissioners directed Engineering Services staff to review Roadway & Drainage Standards, Ordinance 99-17, Article 10., Stormwater Management to address the increased stormwater and drainage concerns within the County. While reviewing Article 10, staff also reviewed Ordinance 99-17 in its entirety and determined additional revisions that should be considered.

 

On December 13, 2021 the Commissioners approved to set a workshop on January 10, 2022 to review proposed revisions to Ordinance 99-17, Roadway and Drainage Standards and request the Board to set a Public Hearing for February 14, 2022.

Set a Public Hearing for February 14, 2022 to consider revisions to Ordinance 99-17 Roadway and Drainage Standards.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Reviewing and updating ordinances and making revisions may have an affect on citizens for years to come.  Holding a Public Hearing allows for greater transparency and affords residents the opportunity to be involved in the revisions process.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
Set a Public Hearing for February 14, 2022 to consider revisions to Ordinance 99-17 Roadway and Drainage Standards.
