Background:

SGS Contracting Services, Inc. has substantially completed construction on the Nassau Amelia Utilities Wastewater Treatment Facility Clarifier Rehab project, Contract No. CM2619.  A partial release of retainage in the amount of $40,205 is due to the vendor.  

 

Original Contract Sum: $797,700.00

Net Change Orders:     $29,900.00

Contract Sum to Date: $827,600.00

Previous Payments:        -$763,895.00

Partial Retainage Due:   $40,205.00

 

After final completion, the remaining final retainage of $23,500 will be presented to the Board at a later date.

Request:
Approve the Partial Release of Retainage to SGS Contracting Services, Inc. in the amount of $40,205 for the Nassau Amelia Utilities Wastewater Treatment Facility, Contract No. CM2619.
Financial/Economic Impact to Future Years Budgeting Process or Effect on Citizens:
Amount included in the partial retainage was included in the project budget.  No additional budgetary increases are expected.
Action Requested and Recommendation:
